DESCRIPTION:Come and join this Scottish protest against Government apathy t
 owards the climate crisis.\n\nThis action is part of an international mobi
 lisation during the latest round of United Nations climate change talks in
  Poland. It's called by Friends of the Earth Edinburgh but we invite other
  organisations in Scotland to join us.\n\nThere is a huge gap between worl
 d leaders’ actions and what is urgently needed. Commitments made during 
 the Paris talks\, even if they were respected\, will keep us on a catastro
 phic path to 3 degrees global warming. Government and private investment 
 in fossil fuels continues to be made at the expense of alternative sustain
 able energy. Yet with international cooperation the target of a cap of 1.5
  degrees warming is achievable.\n\nOur message is “The global community 
 will hold you accountable and we are coming your way to challenge your ina
