DESCRIPTION:Join DivestScotland in Glasgow on Saturday 13th April to get in
 volved in the ever-growing divestment movement.\n\nFrom getting Stirling U
 niversity to divest from fossil fuels to persuading 38 of Scottish MPs to 
 pledge to clean up their oily pensions\, campaigners across Scotland have 
 been building momentum and bringing in win after win!\n\nDivestment is a t
 actic used to weaken the power and social acceptability of fossil fuel com
 panies\, by asking institutions such as universities\, councils and religi
 ous institutions to ditch their fossil fuel investments. Globally\, over 1
 000 institutions have divested almost $8 trillion from fossil fuel compani
 es!\n\nThis day will bring together current divestment activists from acro
 ss Scotland as well as new people looking to get involved. We will be expl
 oring and skill-sharing around existing campaigns as well as introducing a
  brand new Divest Scotland campaign\, aiming to get the Scottish Parliamen
