Come along to an Eat-In from 12-3pm at Kelvingrove Park on Sunday 28th October and join fellow citizens from across Europe in celebration of the European Days of action: Good Food Good Farming (GFGF) taking place this weekend!

The aim of this campaign is to demonstrate how many citizens want a more sustainable food system and a fairer agricultural payment system – whether we’re out/in/trade agreement or whatever is going to happen post Brexit – our views still matter.

We want to show politicians in Scotland and the EU that agricultural policy cannot go on the way it is: prioritising big corporations, chemicals and factory farms over small-scale farmers and sustainable producers.

From 12-3pm there’ll be an informal gathering in the park – meeting from 12pm at the Fountain – where we invite everyone to bring a dish to share that represents the best of your region and if you can bring along your favourite local farmer or producer, even better!

During the Eat-In there’ll be an opportunity to share views (and document them) on the Good Food Nation aims produced by the Scottish Food Coalition and present any others ideas you have for the future of our food system, inc. the agricultural payment system, in Scotland and in Europe.
