Create due diligence measures for creating fair and sustainable supply chains of critical minerals used in Scotland
In the UK, 4 out of 5 people want to see stronger laws holding corporations to account for the damage they do to people and nature. The Scottish Government can take the lead on this by minimising harm in our supply chains through due diligence measures. These include commitments to human rights and environmental protections in the supply chains used by public sector organisations operating in Scotland and developing guidance to help public and private sector organisations comply with these standards.
