Young people have woken up much of the world with their powerful Fridays for Future school strikes for the climate. As we deal with devastating climate breakdown and hurtle towards dangerous tipping points, young people are calling on millions of us across the planet to join the global climate strikes in September, just ahead of a UN emergency climate summit.
On the 20th September, the youth strike will take to the streets in hundreds of towns and cities across the UK and around the world to demand the change we need. The youth strike movement for the climate is calling for everyone, young and old, to stand in solidarity and mobilise alongside them for the Global Climate Strike.
Events are being organised in all corners of Scotland – you can also find ideas of how to organise your workplace on the Global Climate Strikes website – https://globalclimatestrike.net/organise/#workplace
